Shoelaces are a great craft tool anywhere you need heavy string but something even heavier duty that is easy to thread would help even more. Of course my favorite quick crafts is just to color in my shoelaces with rainbow sharpies and then putting them back in my shoes to give that extra flare that takes no time at all. They can also be braided into bracelets that you can color in yourself. You can get really cool looking shoelaces already in all kinds of colors in the store prepackaged that way, but its a lot more fun to do it myself. The options for shoelaces are really pretty exhausting, so just look at some crafts, pick one and just run with it
