Amphibians are a group of animals that include modern-day frogs and toads(anura), caecilians(gymnophiona or apoda), and newts and salamanders(caudata or urodela). The ancestors of modern amphibians were the first animals to venture out of the water and adapt to life on land. All amphibians are cold-blooded animals and they cannot generate their own body heat, instead relying on the temperature of their environment to help them keep warm or cool enough to survive.
Amphibian crafts are popular among children. These crafts includes alligators and crocodiles, chameleons, iguanas, snakes, lizards and salamanders. You can make alligators and crocodiles from clothespins, a 3D chameleon from a toilet paper roll and construction paper, an iguana from woodsies and craft sticks, lizards from felt and snakes from an old tie and poly-fil craft stuffing.
This topics can go on forever, there are a wide range of amphibian crafts out there for children of all ages and for adults too!
