Mother’s Day is coming up next month. That will be here before you know it. So, in honor of the upcoming Mother’s Day Holiday today I will show you how to make a 3D Carnation Mother’s Day Card. Any mom would love receiving a homemade card from their child. And, this card is no exception. Not only is this card made by you, but it is also 3D which makes it really cool. You will use crepe paper to give this card a 3D effect. So, grab the materials needed and let’s get started.

Materials Needed
Red and Pink Crepe Paper
Construction Paper or Card Stock
Paste or Tape
Markers
Scissors
Step 1
Cut out a circle on red and pink crepe paper.

Step 2
Fold in halves and then quarters. Snip edges irregularly to resemble a carnation.
It should look like this.
Step 3
Take a piece of construction paper or card stock and draw 2 stems. You will be pasting the carnations to the top of these stems.
Step 4
Cut top of stem as shown and tuck in flower. Paste or tape on carnations. Write “Mom” or “Mommy” or “Mother”.
There you go….. you just finished making a 3D Carnation Mother’s Day Card. Your mom is going to absolutely love it. Do you know why? Because you made it yourself.
