After Valentines or Halloween, I'm sure you will have a few chocolate boxes that are too beautiful to throw away. You can recycle these empty chocolate candy boxes by turning them into a purse, a Valentine's Day card album or a even a robot.
To make a Valentine's card album, take a heart shape chocolate box and cut the bottom and the top off. Discard the sides and trace around the top of a larger paper and cut that out (make a few). Punch holes in all the top edges. Line up the pages and string them together using a ribbon. Paste paper inside and decorate the cover with stickers or foamie hearts.
Below find some creative ideas to recycle and reuse some of those beautiful heart-shaped candy boxes. Have fun crafting!
A great way to repurpose a used chocolate heart box is to turn it into a frame. Just take a wet wipe and lightly clean out the box and let dry completely. Then trace the heart box onto a picture. Cut out the picture and glue it to the inside of the lid or the box. On the back of the box, glue a ribbon in a loop (for hanging). Now you have a beautifully framed picture of the people you love.
