Home > Arts and Crafts Projects for Kids > Push Pins and Thumb Tacs Crafts for Children
A push pin or thumb tac is a very short pain or nail with a rounded head made of plastic or metal. Push pins are mostly used on bulletin boards to secure the notice on the cork. But push pins have been used for much more, especially when it comes to crafts.
You can use the flatter push pins with the flat metal top (most people call this one a thumb tac) and decorate a wax candle. You can also use push pins to make Christmas ornaments, magnets, pin wheels, and also use it to put up decorations such as garlands. Below you will find other creative ways to use push pins.
