There are a lot of different types of Lemurs. It is just crazy, like 100 different types. All on the island of Madagascar. And, if it wasn't for the movie Madagascar, many of us would barely know anything about these adorable little animals. I say little, because the smallest primate in the world is a Mouse lemur, but they can actually be pretty big. At one time not that long ago there were even some lemurs as big as gorillas. Yikes, I would not want to come across a 400 pound lemur, he might want to cuddle.
I'd much rather make some cute little Lemur crafts for kids. Seems a lot safer than running away from a giant gorilla size lemur, much cuter too. You could of course make a lemur craft based on the movie, but real lemurs are so cute that you would be better off using your imagination when you make your lemur craft. Just make sure you include those beautiful huge round eyes they have and I bet it will turn out almost as cute as the real thing.
