Question:
Can you make me a template of basketball items (basketball, hoop, court, etc.? I want to make these for our girls basketball team for their lockers! Love this idea!
Thanks for your help!
is geart to do this, but that printable magnet sheets cost what?
It looks like the magnet sheets cost about 8 US dollars…for 5 sheets of 8.5″ x 11″ magnet pages.
Where can u find the magnet sheets?
I bought mine at Amazon – Avery-Magnet-Sheets
but I’m sure that they have them at Walmart / Target / etc near the printer paper.
In the fridge photo, all magnets are homemade except for the top largest four, 2 red birds & 2 green pigs.
In the white board photo all are homemade, my Little Pony.
We actually made our ANGRY BIRDS magnets before I found your post here. Our kids have played with them nearly every day since we made them 2 months ago. We still need to make the structure pieces and a few more pigs. We’ll be using your template for that! TY 🙂
We made ours a little differently. I felt the magnet sheet was a bit limp and would bend out of shape easily. (My kids use toys to the fullest extend)
1. First I printed ours on heavy card stock. (I used up as much space on the page as possible. Magnet sheets & card stock are not cheap for us.)
2. Then I spray glued the card stock, images face up, to the magnet sheet. (I use heavy duty 3M type)
3. Next, I topped the card stock, image side, with a cold laminate sheet. (I got mine from our mom & pop office supply store in town.)
4. Cut out with strong scissors or craft/ utility knife. Done!
***The laminate top layer protects the image & is dry erase friendly. My kids draw on their magnets & then just wipe off! The 3 layers make the magnets much stiffer & easier for little hands to grasp.
Wow – Awesome!!! Thank you so much for sharing.
