Children love crafts with gemstones, especially girls (both little girls and teenagers). Normally gemstones are made from mineral which is cut and polished but the ones used in crafts are inexpensive and mostly made from plastic and glass.
You can use gemstones to dazzle up old junk such as bottle caps and old CDs/DVDs. Gemstones are also perfect for making princess tiaras. You can buy a cheap metallic tiara and glue gemstones in place. Gemstones are also perfect for decorating plain t-shirts too.
