Yum, Yum!!! Food and candy wrappers. Maybe not so much fun any more, now that the candy is gone. Guess you'll just need to take those sad, no more candy faces, over to the trash can and dispose of all those wrappers. Well just hold on one more second there. How about we try to turn that frown upside down and turn the no more candy frown into a wrapper craft smile. I know I used to love turning those silver gum wrappers into quick rings by twisting them around and doing a quick fold over. I'm sure you can do better than that though if you give it a try. If you have two of those cool cylinder M&M containers, I bet the bottoms could be cut off and turned into some awesome M&M spy binoculars too. Just ask a parent to put a small whole in the sides and you can attach them with a piece of pipe cleaner. Just make sure that any wrappers you use for crafts are clean though. You don't want any ants busting up your wrapper crafts fun
I'm sure you are here because you are looking for fun and useful ways to recycle candy and food wrappers, especially after Halloween when you have lots and lots of candies. You can make a beautiful bracelet, clutch purse, wallet, a bookmark, miniature furniture for your doll house or an umbrella for your doll from gum wrappers and much more with a little imagination. My personal favorite is making hair barrettes from colorful candy wrappers and of course a barrette clip. These barrettes will certainly make a fashion statement!
