The cheetah is a big cat that lives in a large portion of Africa and parts of the Middle East. The cheetah can run faster than any other land animal - as fast as 70 to 75 miles per hour...Wow! Now that is fast! How fast do you think you can run?! The cheetah's chest is deep and his waist is narrow. The coarse, short fur of the cheetah is tan with round black spots measuring from 2 to 3 cm across, so it has some good camouflage while hunting. He wants to hide from the animals so he can do a better job hunting.
Children love cheetahs so naturally cheetah themed crafts will definitely interest them. The easiest cheetah crafts for children to make will be the ones that are printable or made from paper. You can make one from a toilet paper roll by printing a cheetah template or drawing and gluing it to the paper roll.

These are fun to make and you can play with them afterwards as toy figurines. Start off with an empty thread spool. You can either paint it orange or cover it with orange yarn or felt. Then paint black polka dots all over the body. Add googly eyes and 2 white circles on its face. Then paste on an S-shaped tail ...triangle ears...and feet that are #3 shapes(but with an extra hump).
