MAKING Hole Punch or Confetti Collages: A CRAFT PROJECT FOR KIDS

Make a really cool piece of artwork with the tiny circles you get from hole punching. You can also use different colored pieces of confetti.. This is a great way for children to learn about mosiacs and collages

Hole Punch or Confetti Owls
This is a picture of a hole-punch / confetti owl collage. You can make a picture of anything...it doesn't have to be an owl.

CRAFTS MATERIALS NEEDED:

1. Scraps of black, white or colored construction paper and paper punch or a bag of vari-colored confetti

2. Hat pin, corsage pin or straight pin for picking up the bits of paper

3. Paste or rubber cement

4. Sheet of background paper of a contrasting color

HOW TO MAKE THEM:

1. Draw a simple outline of a picture or design on the background paper.

2. 1. Pick up the bits of paper with a pin, dip them into the paste or rubber cement, and apply them to the background paper.

This is a great first time mosaic project...not all mosaics have to be with tiles.

NOTE: The entire design can be filled in with bits of colored paper or parts of the background paper may be left uncovered.
