Paper bags alone aren't very much fun to play with. What a bummer...mom just left me with a bunch of brown paper lunch bags. Wait, don't despair, you can make puppets with your brown paper bags. So now you CAN play with your lunch (bags)! Find out how to make fun paper bag puppets with the instructions below! Here are more puppet & puppet theater crafts ideas.
1. Brown Paper Lunch Bags
2. Pencils or Crayons or Colored Pencils or Markers
3. Scissors
4. Yarn
5. Glue or paste
6. (Optional) fabric, sequins, buttons, etc.
The simplest puppets can be made by kindergarten children. A face is drawn on a small paper bag. Two holes are cut for arms so that the child can insert a thumb and little finger (see picture above to see what we mean). Colorful head-dresses, yarn hair and hats can be glued on. Little children enjoy dramatizations and simple stories worked out with these easily made puppets.
