This method of painting can be used to show a child that a painting doesn't have to be completed with brush strokes. Paintings can be made in various different ways. In this painting method the child will be making pictures with oval shapes...specifically made with his or her own fingerprint. It is fun to see what types of pictures you can make with simply one shape...an oval. have fun and be creative.
1.Paint (poster, water-color, showcard or tempera)
2. Paper
1. Dip your finger or fingers into the paint and finger print the paper.
A series of prints can result in figures, animals, fish, birds, flowers, etc.
